Location Guide

Location Description

• From Hamilius Tram/Bus Stop (City Center) - Approximately a 10-minute walk
  • Walk southwest toward Parc Edith Klein
• From the Airport to the Embassy
  • [By Public Transport - Approximately 40 minutes]
    • Tram (T1 toward Station or Lycée Bouneweg) → Get off at Hamilius station, then walk for 10 minutes
    • Bus (Lines 6, 16) → Get off at Hamilius stop (Hamilius CN Quai 2), then walk for 10 minutes
    • Bus (Line 6) → Get off at Wampach Quai 1, then walk for 3 minutes

    Public transport (bus, tram) in Luxembourg is free

  • [By Car - Approximately 20-30 minutes (10 km)]

    Taxi fare is approximately €55

• From the Central Train Station (Gare Centrale) to the Embassy
  • [By Public Transport – Approximately 15–20 minutes]
    • Tram (T1: toward Luxexpo) → Get off at Hamilius station, then walk for 10 minutes
    • Bus (Line 13: Gare Centrale Quai 1) → Get off at Wampach Quai 2, then walk for 3 minutes

• VISA SERVICE : 09:00-12:00 (For Visa applications, please visit no later than 30 mins before closing time.)

Holidays in the Year 2025

• In addition to the official Luxembourgish holidays, the Embassy is closed on the 1st of March, 15th of August, 3rd of October and 9th of October.
