Submission a Certificate of TB Test for long-term stay visas (from April, 2020)

From April, 2020, All Nigerians who apply for long-term stay visas should submit a Certificate of TB(Tuberculosis) Test issued from the Embassy designated hospital. Please note that a Certificate of TB Test issued from elsewhere except the designated hospital will NOT be accepted.

o Requirements for long-term stay visas

- a Certificate of TB Test issued from the Embassy designated hospital, including one or more results such as chest X-ray examination, examination of the sputum and tuberculin-skin test.

o Applicable visas
- Following Long-term stay visas including Study(D-2), Dependent Family(F-3), Marriage Migrant(F-6) : D-1~D-10 / E-1~E-10 / F-1~F-6 / H-1~H-2 / G-1
- Short-Term Employee(C-4) is not a Long-term stay visa but a Certificate of TB Test should be submited.

o Others
- The valid period of a Certificate of TB Test is three months from the date of issuance.
- Children under 6 years of age and pregnant women are exempted from submitting the certificate.
- Diplomacy(A-1), Foreign Government Official(A-2) and Agreements(A-3) visa applicants are exempted from submitting the certificate.
