Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) offers a scholarship program to identify outstanding individuals among the descendants of UN veterans who participated in the Korean War, providing them with an opportunity to study in Korea.

The selection process for the 2026 6.25 UN Veteran Descendant Scholarship is as follows. For detailed information, please refer to the attached file.

• ●Eligibility: Direct descendants of UN veterans from the 22 countries that participated in the Korean War.

• ●Number of Recipients: 2 students
  

• ●Scholarship Benefits:
  

• ○Korean language program support (1 year)
  

• ○Tuition waiver for degree programs (2-4 years)
  

• ○Dormitory support during the stay
  

• ○※ Airfare and other living expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
