How to apply for a Visa

Visa application must be made in person, with all the required documents printed and submitted on day or application. The Embassy will hold the passport for the whole duration of the visa process. Submitting visa application or documents by post or email or e-visas, are not accepted. Submitted documents are not returned to the applicant and destroyed after a certain period for General Data Protection purpose. You MUST make an online appointment for Visa application. Our Embassy does not accept e-visa application.

How long does a visa take

Visa process will take at least 10-14 working days.

The Embassy can not guarantee when the visa will be issued. The Embassy can not issue the visa based on the applicants' flight schedule, therefore please prepare enough time (at least between 1-2 months before your scheduled entry date) for your visa to be processed. We recommend applicants to book their flights after they get their visa. The Embassy can not issue visa for travel that is too far ahead(more than 3month after from application date), as the visa is only valid for entry to Korea within 3 month from issuance date.

However, the following visas will be processed within 7 working days.

-A1, A2, A3 Visas

-Urgent visas due to humanitarian reasons, etc.

In all the above cases, additional documents and telephone interview may be required.
