Driving Licence Exchange

●Only Korean nationals can apply for a letter of entitlement. Irish nationals may apply for a letter of entitlement, in that case you must email at irekoremb@mofa.go.kr to check whether or not you qualify for this.
●We are unable to accept a converted driving license, as the driving license must be obtained through a driving test conducted in Korea.
●Notary service: 9:30 ~ 12:00, 14:00-16:30 Monday to Friday (Appointment needed)
●You are supposed to visit the Embassy for this service.

* The Embassy does not provide translation services.

* Translations should be typed and printed out (No handwriting).

5. Copy of ARC/VISA/Entry and Exit stamps (Irish nationals Only)

* If you want to drive in Korea please carry documents below when driving.
